Abstract

Over the past few decades, women's entrepreneurship in India has grown significantly. Notwithstanding these advancements, obstacles like limited access to resources, societal prejudices, and financial limitations still affect female entrepreneurs. This study examines the state of women's entrepreneurship in India today, highlighting important factors, obstacles, and potential legislative solutions. The report emphasises how government programs, technological advancements, and shifting public perceptions empower female entrepreneurs. It also looks at how women's socioeconomic situation is affected by entrepreneurship, highlighting how their involvement in the industry promotes gender equality and financial independence. The study also explores how innovation and technology may help women succeed as entrepreneurs and offers tactical suggestions for strengthening support networks. India can provide a supportive environment that encourages women entrepreneurs to expand sustainably and eventually contribute to the economic development of the country by removing obstacles and taking advantage of possibilities.
