INDOOR AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Indoor air quality (IAQ) significantly affects human health, comfort, and productivity. Poor IAQ can lead to respiratory issues, allergies, and exposure to hazardous gases such as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), which poses explosion risks. This paper presents an integrated indoor air quality management system that combines real-time air quality monitoring with LPG gas detection. The system utilizes sensors to measure pollutants like carbon dioxide (CO₂), carbon monoxide (CO), particulate matter (PM2.5/PM10), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), humidity, temperature, and LPG concentration. An IoT-based system processes the data and triggers alerts for ventilation or emergency responses when hazardous levels are detected. This research highlights the importance of integrating LPG detection with IAQ monitoring for enhanced indoor safety.
