Abstract

AI-owered face recognition technology is transforming smart door locks by enhancing security, convenience, and personalization[1]. These locks employ sophisticated algorithms to provide precise authentication with liveness detection, enhancing security by minimizing unauthorized access risks [2]. Integration with IoT enables real-time monitoring and automation, while adaptive learning adjusts to appearance changes[3]. By utilizing edge computing for privacy, these smart locks are transforming access control in homes, businesses, and public areas, fostering a safer and more connected environment[4].
