Abstract

Soybean shells, an abundant agricultural waste, pose significant environmental and economic challenge.  Briquetting machine offers a promising solution by converting soybean shells into densified fuel briquettes. This literature review provides a comprehensive analysis of briquetting machine design performance and application for soyabean shells waste management. A thorough examination of existing research reveals the key factors influencing briquetting machine efficiency, including moisture content, particle size and binder addition. The review also highlights the physical and chemical properties of soyabean shells that affect briquetting, such s high ash content and low calorific value. furthermore, the environmental benefits and economic viability of briquetting machine for for soyabean shells waste management are discussed. This review aims to provide a valuable resource for researcher, engineers, and practitioners seeking to develop and implement efficient briquetting machine for sustainable soybean shell waste management.
